NASHVILLE

This past weekend I took a girls trip to Nashville! I had never been and all I can say is it was soooooo much fun! I seriously had the best time! I went with my friend Kyra, and a few other girls I hadn't met before but absolutely love! There were tons of laughs, scary moments (a vampire/homeless guy was about to bite my face off..) and drinks (of course) LOTS of drinks and the best food! Definitely the best trip I've been on in a long time! We didn't see anyone famous which mad me sad cause I was hoping either Luke Bryan or Eric Church would see me and fall madly in love and that would be all she wrote but sadly none... Here are a few pics from the trip!

My 30 before 30

I've seen these 30 before 30 lists and have had one for a while but mine is more like 22 before 30 because I'm having a hard time thinking of more things to do... Here's what I have so far!

1.) Get married (divorced..)
2.) finish college
3.) get RN
4.) have a baby
5.) go skydiving
6.) plant a garden
7.) go skiing in Colorado
8.) go on a cruise
9.) Run a 5k nonstop
10.) Run a 10k nonstop
11.) Volunteer
12.) take a girls trip
13.) get a good camera and become good at taking pics
14.) Start a charity
15.) find my purpose in life   ( I marked this off cause I have a feeling what it is...)
16.) go to New York
17.) join a church
18.) Get botox
19.) Get a boob job (just put em back where they belong)
20.) Find TRUE love (see #1)
21.) Run a half Marathon
22.) Go to a casino

Any suggestions on what else to do?....

Where'd you get your tan?

Everyone swears I go to the tanning bed religously because of my tan but here's my secret... I do go to the tanning bed but only for spray tans. Here is what I use.... Tan towels, Beach sexy tinted body lotion by Victoria's Secret and the Versa spa spray tan. I swear by these!

This past week was pretty crazy! My Memorial weekend wasn't too great because I had a sick boy. Jack has had 5 ear infections WITH ruptured eardrums in the past 2 months. That's just a little ridic so off to the ENT we go for probably some tubes. FUN! I know its a simple procedure but I'm still a little stand offish on having my kid put to sleep.... On a better note this weekend was fun. I went to Wing and Rock fest in dowtown Woodstock and met up with some friends! It was good times! I start my Summer semester in school this Wednesday and for some reason I thought taking 3 classes would be smart. So heres to having no life again!

Holy long time!

Wow it's been a LOOOONG time since I've blogged but life has been pretty hectic! So much has happened (for the better I think) in the paast 6-7 months! I went through the big "D" and I don't mean Dallas, I just finished another semester in school thank God for that! Jack is growing like a weed and continues to amaze/wear me out everyday! He's seriously the best thing to ever happen to me! His new thing is rolling his eyes at me and telling me where he'd rather be if I tell him no about something... I did say best thing right?.... It seems there is a disease going around that is causing all my friends to make tiny humans! Both my sis-in laws are pregnant and 4 of my friends are too! I don't know if they know what causes this yet but I'll get to the bottom of this! I have been a running fool these days! I find its the best thing to clear my head and get some "me" time! I'm training to do my first 10k but the rate I'm going I should be in the Olympics in no time! I've tried the "dating scene" and it's a little awkward and scary but oh well I'll get through it! SOOOO to all my new Mommy friends I leave you with this sweet video of my precious boy....

It's your birthday....

This past week has been FILLED with birthday celebrations!
Thursday night I went to Ipp's for my sis-in-law Jenica's birthday! It was sooooo yummy and I loved getting to catch up with everyone!
Friday we went to the mill Henry's for Andrea's birthday which was so fun! There was a great band and the atmosphere was really good. We were definitely the youngest ones in the joint and who can forget our waiter "Rico"?!
Last night (Tuesday) we went down to Tw!st for Stacy's birthday dinner! I was amazing! I love that place! And no ladies you can't get to your car through the mall after 9! FAIL! I had to walk all the way back around! I love my friends to pieces and I'm so blessed to have them in my life!

Soooo much cheaper and better to make your own!
